2013 was by far the toughest year of my life. The spiral that led to my graduation, moving home, searching for a job, finding a job, starting a new job, and finally moving out on my own- has been a slow, and at times – painful process.
Along the way, I have learned more about myself then I ever have, and learned more about my support system then ever before. My friends and my family are without a doubt, the reason I am still here today. I am 100% happier with myself, and will use my new found confidence to spring board right into the start of 2014.
New Year, New Me.
I made a promise to myself that I would run a half-marathon before my 23rd birthday on May 21st. I will be running the half-marathon in Chicago, as I embark to a new state, and complete a new challenge. My training for this half-marathon is about to begin.
This is the training plan that I will follow leading up to my May 10th half-marathon. It is a combination of running and cross training that I think will lead me to an even healthier lifestyle, and without a doubt the most in-shape I’ve ever been in my life.
I’m pumped, and ready to not only complete this challenge, but absolutely kill this challenge.
